P&C Annual General Meeting
The Burrendah P&C will be holding its 2023 Annual General Meeting on Monday 13th February at 7pm in the school hall (opposite the school’s admin office). We would love to see you there!
At the AGM we welcome new members and elect the P&C’s executive positions, which become vacant at the beginning of each year. We have the following positions open and are looking for parents and community members to join us:
President | The President is the meeting Chairperson, the public face of the P&C, and can be a link between parents and the school administration.
|
Vice President | The Vice President undertakes the President's duties if they are unable to do so, such as chairing meetings when the President is absent or has a conflict of interest.
|
Treasurer | The Treasurer maintains the Association’s financial records, including sighting invoices before transferring money, issuing receipts, banking all money received, and preparing and presenting a report for each general meeting.
|
Secretary | The Secretary maintains the Association’s records such as posting a notice of meetings, assisting the Chairperson to set meeting agendas, recording minutes and dealing with correspondence.
|
Executive Committee Members x 3 | The Executive Committee Members meet and vote on urgent issues outside of normal P&C meetings. |
To be able to operate as a P&C we need to have all the above positions filled. Can you see yourself in one? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
If you are unable to take on a formal role, you can still be a part of our great team as a regular P&C member, or even as one of our casual helpers. Being a part of the P&C is a great way to meet new people, make friends, have fun, and contribute to your child’s school. The P&C meets twice each term, usually on a Monday evening, and we welcome new members throughout the year.

What or who is the Burrendah P&C Association?

The objectives of P&Cs are to promote the interests of their school through:
(a) cooperation between parents, teachers, students, and members of the general community
(b) assisting in the provision of resources, facilities, and amenities for the school, and
