Grades 3-6 ACMI Excursion

Grades 3-6 had a fabulous adventure in Melbourne last week! Everybody got to the station and boarded the train on time. Groups of students collaborated at ACMI to make incredible stop motion animations with Lego. We wandered some laneways, seeing street art “galleries”. We also walked along the river between Southern Cross and Federation Square, resulting in some very tired feet! We are very proud of the students, who showed excellent Responsibility, Resilience, Unity and Respect in the city.

Kitchen Garden Afternoon Tea

456 A&B made mini scroll sandwiches and fruit platters for the whole school for their final Kitchen Garden of the year. Each class had a table set up for them and the 456s served them afternoon tea.

Bake Sale

A highlight of the bake sale was selling all of our stock and having a jam donut.  Also having coffee for the first time (decaffeinated obviously).  It was certainly stressful working out change in a rush and when a team member left.  But overall my favourite thing was making the food and taste testing.  Emmett

My favourite thing about the Bake Sale was hanging out with Jessie and Sabine. A highlight was making $140 dollars or so. I really enjoyed selling 23 packets of rocky road. I was very happy that so many people wanted to come to our stall. I was thankful for Rai buying so much of our ingredients.

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CAME
