Hi Everyone,

We still have places available for Primary children to attend FREE after- school PCYC Armidale workshops in Term 1, 2023.

We are fortunate to have leading coaches come to our region to provide their expertise to our players.

Hockey - Mark Knowles, former Australian captain of the Kookaburras, 2014 World Player of the Year, Olympic gold medallist, four-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist and Australian Player of the Year.

Netball -  Jill McIntosh, former Australian Diamond, a Netball Australia's Hall of Fame member, and former Australian Head Coach, Gold medallist at World Netball Championships and twice two-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist; and Samantha May, former Sydney Swift, played for eight seasons in the UK National Competition. Currently works with Netball NSW as the State Performance and Pathways Manager, and is a coach in the 2023 Metro 1 state league competition.

These are fantastic development clinics for sports enthusiasts in our Armidale region.

Slow down to 40 when bus lights flash 

As the new school year commences, it’s time to reinforce our commitment to improving safety around buses.

The Transport for NSW bus flashing lights campaign highlights that motorists must ‘Slow down to 40 when bus lights flash’.

The campaign for term one will run from Thursday 26 January to Friday 10 February 2023.

We encourage you to get involved and help promote the bus flashing lights campaign through your own communication channels and within your communities.

The bus flashing lights communications toolkit contains useful web links, web tiles, imagery, animated GIFs, links for ordering posters and more. These resources can be used during the campaign and throughout the term to help us promote this important bus safety message and reach our Towards Zero target of zero lives lost on our roads.
