Food for Thought News

After some fabulous Christmas cooking and gift ideas in Head Start, Food For Thought MAP has welcomed many new students and some returning for another year of exploring food through farms visits, creative applications and of course cooking!  So far students have made Mini Berry Pies, Summer Fruit Flans and fruit charms.  The  culmination of our 'Summer Fruit' theme being a visit to the Sunny Ridge Berry Farm in Main Ridge and then our own homemade berry jam lesson.  We look forward to our next theme....POTATOES!  Come down in term 2 and see what we can create with just a humble spud.
