National Science Week
Next week is National Science Week. The focus this year is Future Earth. During National Science Week we have all been invited to look ahead and imagine what our future planet will be like.
One of the most pressing issues for our Future Earth is climate change. Will Earth's climate remain as it has been for most of mankind's history, or have we triggered changes that could severely affect us and other species?
Our changing environment prompts us to stop and think about how we live on our planet. As a faith community we are called to respond and to adopt new ways of living as Pope Francis highlights in his encyclical, Laudato Si': On the Care of our Common Home.
Below are some questions that you might like to discuss at home during National Science Week:
- What could you be doing at home to help our Future Earth?
- What do you think Future Earth will be like?
- How do you think technology will impact Future Earth?
- What Future Earth would you like to create?
eLearning Music Videos
We are finalizing the music videos, including our students with red dots (no photos) before we upload them to our next Newsletter, which will be a supersized eLearning addition.
