HOUSE CUP
The House Cup was a hotly contested competition this year that has seen all houses competing in a variety of challenges throughout the last three terms. Points were awarded to each house for the major sporting carnivals, Music Festival, Math Olympiad, Language Perfect, Writer of the Month, Pi Day and also club activities such as Knitting Club, lunchtime sport, music events and many more.
Flynn started the year with a bang winning the Swimming Carnival. Gilmore were hot favourites early in the year and built a considerable lead with excellent results in the House Music Festival and Maths Olympiad. Monash started to claw their way back with a big win at Athletics and Language Perfect, whereas Chisholm were outstanding at the House Music Festival and Writer of the Month competitions.
But in the end, it was only a measly 18 points that separated 1st and 2nd.
We would like to thank all the House Captains. They have not only been involved in the most activities, but they have also inspired and encouraged others and put in hours of extra effort for their house.
