IPSHA Swimming Carnival

On Thursday 21 March selected Primary students in Years 4 to 6 attended the IPSHA Swimming Carnival at Newman College. Competing in a new carnival format students swam in two timed heats with the fastest four students across the two heats awarded places. Under the new format there are no Champion Boys/Girls or winning School. The emphasis of the carnival is enjoyment and participation. A special congratulations to Keira Porter who placed top three in all her events. Also congratulations to Logan Pfeiffer and Louis Trueman who also placed in their events. 

ACC Swimming Carnival

Congratulations to the ACC swim team who competed in the 'G' division competition. John Wollaston came in at sixth place overall but first place in the Junior Boys  and the Boys Aggregate competitions. A special congratulations to the following students on their individual results:

  • Reese Hancock – ACC ‘G Division' U13 Champion Girl
  • Blair Louis – ACC ‘G Division' U13 Champion Boy
  • Jacob Hale – ACC ‘G Division' U14 Champion Boy, *Record: U14 boys freestyle *Record: U14 boys butterfly 
  • Joshua Beaman – ACC ‘G Division’ OPEN Runner Up Champion Boy
  • Jake Passmore - ACC ‘G Division' U15 Boys -4th place
