Public Speaking Competition

On Friday 17th August, Myles and Amelia represented Burke Ward at the Broken Hill Public Speaking Competition. They were AMAZING! It is hard to believe that they are only 9 and 8 years old. Amelia was awarded first place in the competition. Both students represented Burke Ward with pride. We are so proud of you!

Maddy and Charli, our senior public speakers, demonstrated why they are school leaders. Both girls spoke passionately about topics close to their hearts -using our imaginations to solve the world’s problems and being responsible environmental citizens. Our world is definitely in safe hands. Congratulations girls, everyone at Burke Ward is so proud of you!
