A Message from Father Manny

A Message for St. Joseph the Worker Primary School North Reservoir. (29.4.2022)
Greetings to everyone at our St. Joseph the Worker Primary School, North Reservoir and welcome back as we start the 2022 school second term. At the start of this second term, we celebrate our Parish and School feast day of St. Joseph the Worker (1st May) which we celebrate with a special school mass today Friday 29th April. In his special letter about St. Joseph titled “With a Father’s Heart”, Pope Francis tells us that: “St. Joseph was a carpenter who earned an honest living for his family. From him, Jesus learned the value, the dignity and the joy, of what it means to eat bread that is the fruit of one’s own labour. In our own day” said Pope Francis “there is a renewed need to appreciate the importance of dignified work, of which Saint Joseph is an exemplary patron”. With our motto “Let us work together” let us hope that our working together be helped by the humble example of St Joseph who worked and cared for others and who trusted in God. Let us all look forward to imitating the humble, sincere and just commitments of St. Joseph. Let us pray for unity and peace in the world. At the beginning of this second term, we celebrate Mother’s Day. Happy Mother’s Day and best wishes and blessings to all of you mothers and women in our school and parish community that you may continue receiving much joy and respect. To all mothers and women, CONGRATULATIONS on the great work you do for the family and for the community. AUGURI.
Best wishes to everyone and may this year 2022 continue to be for us all a Year of HOPE.
May God’s blessings be with you all.
Manny Bonello.
