RSC - Chess Club

The RSC Chess Club has been growing in popularity over the last six weeks, with around 20 students showing up every Wednesday at lunchtime to quickly snap up our 13 chess boards. 

The Staff vs Year 12 Students Chess Tournament was held in week 8, with Year 12's victorious against staff, wining 2-1. 

Well done to the year 12 student chess team; Stephanie Moon, Francesca Lucot and Riley Gordon. 

This year we can expect big things for our chess club: a school wide tournament in Term 2, and potentially an inter-school tournament later in the year.

The Rochester Secondary College Chess Club meets every Wednesday at lunchtime in room 23, and is run by Mr. Nordblom. All students are welcome.
