Remote learning

Week 7

Please encourage your child to complete all the learning activities set. Teachers are keeping records of task completion and participation in Google Meets to assist with reporting. Students are to check their emails regularly throughout the day to check for feedback. Teachers are also noting students who are responding to feedback. Encourage your child to complete their very best work. Some tasks may be labelled as Assessment Tasks, please ensure these tasks are completed by your child without additional support.

Thank you for the ongoing support you are are providing your child/ren. Together we continue to make a difference.

Academic Competitions News

Some updated news for our students that have entered Academic Competitions in 2020.

Unfortunately due to our Stage 4 Lock down, The Australian Mathematics Competition was cancelled for Victorian schools in August. There was a non-competitive activity offered as an alternative but the practicalities of administering this remotely was challenging and I elected on your behalf to apply for a refund of your entry fee. As soon as we receive this refund we will return it to you.

The University of New South Wales Academic Competitions have been conducted over the past 2 weeks for all non-Victorian schools. Fortunately Victorian students have been offered a second sitting window (between the 12th and 23rd of October) and we hope by then we can be back at school and have you participating in this competition.

I promise to keep you updated.

Kind Regards

Mrs Martin
