Monday 2nd November 2020- Curriculum Day

As a School Leadership Team, we have discussed the implications of foregoing vs undertaking the remaining two Curriculum Days for our school. Therefore, to balance the needs of our community with the professional needs of staff we are foregoing one of these Curriculum days, and will be holding one day on Monday 2nd November, with the focus of “Assessment and Reporting- forecasted planning for intervention”.School Council have approved for this day to be a school-wide Curriculum Day, therefore there will be no students on-site this day. Will OSHC be available?Unfortunately, Extend OSHC will not be available on this day. Should you wish to make contact with Extend OSHC to discuss this matter, we welcome you to do so.

Today our Junior School Council members held their first meeting for the term, and have arranged for the following community celebrations to occur:

Thursday 22nd October- Sporting/Hobbies & Personal Passions Dress-Up Day

As you would be aware, Friday 23rd October is a Victorian Public Holiday, linked to the AFL Grand Final. Therefore our JSC voted to hold a "Sporting/Hobbies and Personal Passions Dress-Up Day" in lieu of our school's traditional footy day. On Thursday 22nd October students may wear clothing which reflects their sporting/hobbies/personal passions. There is a free event.

Birthday Celebrations Free-Dress

At our school, students may wear free-dress on their birthday. JSC identified that many students who had a birthday during Remote Learning missed out on this opportunity. Therefore, on the dates below, any student who celebrated a birthday during Remote Learning may wear free-dress to school:

  • Foundation students: Wed 21/10/2020
  • Year One students: Fri 16/10/2020
