Return to Face to Face Learning

From next Monday, 12th October, all students will be at school for face to face learning. Please note the following important information:

Staggered pick up times 

School pick up times will continue to be staggered: 

• Families are asked not to enter the school grounds, however, families will be able to access the school driveway.
• Drop off time will not change due to the scope of time that already exists.  Multiple entry points into the College also allow for social distancing.
• Pick up times:

               3.00pm (Years F-2)

               3.10pm (Years 3-6)

               3.20pm (Years 7-12)

***Please note that families will only need to undertake one pickup for all their children.  For example, if you have a Year 1 and Year 6 child, you will be required to pick up your children at 3:00pm.  Likewise, if you have children in Year 3 and Year 7, you will be required to pick up your children at 3:10pm.

***Please note any students who are dismissed early and are required to go on the bus will be supervised until they are on the bus.

• More staff will be allocated to this area at drop off and pick up times

Hats

Students and families are reminded that as part of our Sun Smart Policy, hats must be worn when outside during Term 4.

We ask that you please ensure your child brings their wide brimmed St Augustine's school hat when they return to school.

Masks and Face Coverings

A reminder that all secondary students MUST wear a mask or face covering when they return to on-site learning next week.  Primary students may wear a mask if their family wishes.  Below is some information about masks for our return to school.

School Photos - Friday 16th October

School photos will take place next Friday, 16th October.  All students must be in full summer school uniform for photo day.

Term 4 Canteen Menu

Our canteen menu has been updated for Term 4.  The menu can be found in today's Diary Dates and is also available on the college website under Downloads/General Documents or PAM/SIMON under School Links.

Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) Application Extension

Great News!! CSEF has been extended to all families with a Health Care Card valid until 5th October, 2020.  If you have a Health Care Card and have not lodged a CSEF application, please call into the College Office and pick up an application form.  Each eligible primary student will receive $125 and eligible secondary students will receive $225.

Applications close Friday 27th November, 2020.

2020 VIRTUAL Arts and Technologies Showcase Exhibition

Are you curious to see what we have been up to?

This year the annual Arts and Technologies Showcase Exhibition is going Virtual…..and you will be able to view this exhibition from the comfort of your own home during Week 5 of this term.

The exhibition will showcase student work from Foundation up to Year 12 that has been designed, manufactured and created in Visual Art, Performing Arts, Visual Communication Design, Technology Wood, Metal and Food, both at school and at home.

How do I enter? 

There are two ways to enter your work into the Virtual Showcase Exhibition:

1. Your teacher will select work created both in class or during remote learning.
2. You can enter work in our new category ‘Art and Technology at Home’. This category is for work that you may have done at home during the year, that does not relate to school.

All entries must be submitted to your teacher by Friday 23rd October.

We are currently collating enrolment information as part of our regular school review processes.  If you have a child/children due to commence schooling at St Augustine's in future years, please email nicoleelliott@sakyabram.vic.edu.au with your child's name, date of birth and year in which they will start school at St Augustine's.
