On Monday morning, ten minutes before the first bell, staff were adding finishing touches to areas in the Foundation Learning Space. All of sudden, persistent banging could be heard on the door. Upon investigation, a myriad of beaming faces could be seen through the window. As soon their presence was acknowledged, those faces called out, "Let us in!" Needless to say, the children bounded in with enthusiasm and excitement. It is wonderful to see our Foundation students so happy and eager to be back at school. Students are slipping back into routine and are thrilled to be reunited with their teachers and friends. Whilst remote learning was successful, nothing beats face to face teaching and learning. We look forward to a fantastic and fun Term 4!
Seeing our learning space come to life during Investigations was terrific this week. Students engaged in investigative play in areas of interest and in areas where they were able to play with friends. This Term, our Inquiry focus is "How to Keep Safe Under the Hot Australian Sun?" Students will learn about our country Australia and it's climate. They will also learn about safe and expected behaviours as part of road safety. We invite you to peruse through photos to catch a glimpse of Investigations in action, first day back.

Wednesday 14th October - Year 3 - 6 students return to school
Friday 16th October - Whole School Assembly (Zoom) 12.30pm
Friday 16th October - Foundation specialists classes (this week only)
