BOOK WEEK  -  OCTOBER 17 - 23 

Every year the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) brings children and books together celebrating Book Week. The CBCA presents annual awards to books of literary merit, for outstanding contribution to Australian children's literature.

The winners will be announced at 12 noon Friday October 16.

This year's theme is "Curious Creatures, Wild Minds".

Our school is celebrating Book Week with lots of learning and fun activities. Many students have already started reading some of the titles on the Shortlist. These books will be available for library borrowing by the students after Book Week ends.
