Year 9 French

On Wednesday 5 December, a very special French class took place with the Year 9s.  Our last lesson has been dedicated to baking traditional Christmas biscuits.

With their recipe in French, the students playfully deciphered the steps to follow and totally transformed themselves into little chefs.

They learned what cannelle and farine were and they understood a coffee spoon here, is definitely smaller than the French one.

Some Year 9s were quite creative with the quantities but we all avoided a sugar overdose!

Ending the year in this cheerful atmosphere was exquisite.

As these are my last days at Lilydale High School before flying back home, I would like to thank you all for this wonderful time here.  I’m bringing with me all these memories and wish you a Merry Christmas.
