Geelong Regional Library Corporation membership drive

We encourage everyone to sign up for Geelong Regional Library Corporation membership

* Collect your application forms from the school library

* Get them signed by a parent / guardian if you are under 18

* Select a four digit pin number

* Return the application forms to the library - orange box on front counter

* I get the cards made up every Friday and then put the student names on Compass letting them know their new cards can be picked up from the school library.

* Free access to books, e-books, audio books (including class novels), DVDs, Magazines, clubs, study and recreation spaces, internet and inexpensive printing and photocopying...

URGENT

Please return all library books to the school library. We are about to begin stocktake and borrowing has ceased for the year. We'd really appreciate your help with this.  Lockers are being cleaned out and we've had dozens of returns this week - well done everyone for returning your books. Borrowing has ceased for the school year. Please check Compass as lists of students with outstanding books will be added and checked daily, Ms Kimpton - our Library Technician - will also come to classrooms with those lists to encourage returns. Book Recommendations

I get lots of book recommendations for purchase - I review those recommendations and add them to my list of lost books that need to be replaced. I order books monthly - so get those recommendations in please if you see any good books in stores/ Geelong Library. We also have a book recommendations box on the front counter with slips to fill in.

This is a good way to have a say at what's in your school library!
