PROGRAM UPDATE

Hello everyone!

Monday 25th May is a curriculum day but at OshClub it will be Kaboom Science Day! Due to the overwhelming and positive response to Science, (last week at OshClub), we have decided to extend  our science learning and exploration on curriculum day. So if you have not done your booking on this day, please do so at the OshClub website.

For the rest of week at OshClub, our focus will be on learning a new skill with our students. Learning any new skill requires courage and a positive attitude. It is an experience that may be fun or frustrating for some. Through our program, we would like to encourage students to explore things in a fun and safe environment. We will have a number of activities across a range of domains, including sports (Prisoner tag, Poison ball, Balancing challenges and Ball Target practice), cooperative tasks (“life cycle of butterfly", group celery painting, “lost in a jungle game”), cooking tasks (Indian paratha bread and lentils, Chocolate and banana spring rolls) and much more.

We will of course take lots of pictures to put in our Reflection Journal (which is available for parents to view and comment on at any time).

Please note that all Foundation students will still be escorted to the classroom in the morning and will be picked up from class in the afternoon.

As always, we are looking for old clothes, toys, books, recyclables or even craft materials to help us learn and have new experiences. We would absolutely love donations to the program and always appreciate the thought!
