Japan Festival and Special InSchool Visit

Thank you very much to Helen, Stuart, Karl, Minako, Kaoru and Eiji who helped with our Huntingdale booth yesterday at Japan Festival.

It was so nice to see our school community, families and ex students came to say ‘Hi’.

We met "Susaki Ai" who does Japanese traditional story telling.

She kindly came to visit our school and present a story telling session for our children as well as bringing some Japanese traditional instruments to play such as Koto and Shamisen.

As her flight back to Japan was Tuesday, the only opportunity we had to share her talent was Tuesday.  It was very short notice but was too good of an opportunity to turn down.
