Year 12 Vocational Major 

Vocational Major students went boarder climbing at Climb West. They undertook Personal Development activities and completed risk assessments of the facility for Work-Related Skills. 

Year 9 Art Surrealism

Year 9s have been busy this week finishing off their ceramic Surreal Hand sculptures. Most clay hands fired in the kiln well, although sadly, there were a few casualties. Overall, I’m proud of their efforts and dedication to the task, and it shows!

Year 10 Chemistry 

Students have been learning to write chemical equations and to learn about the conservation of mass. Students experimented by comparing mass before and after and experiment, proving that the conservation of mass really does exist

Students made hydrogen by dissolving magnesium ribbon in hydrochloric acid. The tested to see if they had made hydrogen by collecting the gas and then lighting it to make a pop

Students in Year 10 Chemistry have been learning about decomposing compounds. They heated copper(II) carbonate to produce copper oxide and carbon dioxide.
