Term 2, Week 4

Happy Belated Mothers Day

A very happy Mother’s Day to all of you who play a mothering role day in and day out. To our stand in Mothers, to the dads who play a dual role, to our JSA mother figures, our teachers, our ES and our therapy support team, to those who have their very little ones at home, to those who have grown up babies venturing into adulthood and to everyone in between. Thank you for your soft, caring temperaments. The world is that little brighter because of you. We hope you received lots of love, and maybe a gift from the Mother's Day stall on your special day.

Swimming

We have swimming taking place from Monday 22nd May until Friday 26th May- next week! Take some time to get yourselves organised in advance as I’m sure it is going to be a very busy week. No doubt students will be coming home wanting a few extra hours of sleep after exerting all of that energy!

SSG's

SSG’s are currently taking place and will be wrapped up in week 6. In the event you have not yet received a note, or booked in a time, please contact your child’s classroom teacher via the communication book to organise a time.

Curriculum Day

We will be having a student free curriculum day on Friday 9th June. Students will not be attending on this day as teachers and ES staff will be in the classrooms learning and growing themselves!

I hope you all have a wonderful few weeks and an even better term ahead.

Room 15

Room 15 have had so many fun learning experiences so far. We have enjoyed learning about student led research topics such as countries, Australian/world history, learning Auslan, touch typing, media studies, BTN and coding. We celebrated the 10 year anniversary with an excursion to BOUNCE. Room 15 are excited to continue satisfying our curiosity for learning.
