The Sensory Room is open for student use. This has been a long-time coming but the students are enjoying using the room for OT activities. The high windows provide plenty of light and are safely out of the way and any student activities.

Yaluk Building

Yaluk Building is progressing well. All the steel has arrived for stage 2 and contractors are using a crane to lift the cross beams in place.  The last site meeting set a finish date in December, however delays such as rain which made it unsafe to work is likely to stretch out the completion date.

I would like to welcomeDunedin NgaauandTarek Allouche who will be doing Work Placement with Jacob over the next 6 weeks. Both students will be assisting Jacob as they learn & practice the skills around garden maintenance, also assisting with the many and varied building maintenance tasks that need to be completed each day throughout the school.
