New Assesments Begin Next Week

This Monday, we begin the new assessments for all students called VTCAP. Please Click here for the letter that was recently emailed.

Diversity Week

Next week, all of our schools in the Supervisory Union will be celebrating Diversity Week. We will have daily advisory time at school to discuss topics of equity, diversity, and social justice. Our theme this year is "Your Story Matters". On Friday, May 5, our students will be part of an assembly to listen to a performance by A2VT.

An Amazing Visit!

Our 8th grade students were recently able to meet and hear an amazing story or survival by Holocaust survivor Katie Preston. Ms. Preston is 85 years young and her enthusiasm for sharing her learned experiences was amazing! The kids loved her and she left a lasting impression. A special thank you to teachers Rebecca Twaites and Nicholas Yialiades for organizing this powerful assembly. The photos at the top and on the cover are from theassembly.

Teacher Appreciation Week

In addition to the testing and Diversity Week, it's National Teacher Appreciation Week! At BAMS we celebrate all staff during that week. Feel free to send a teacher or staff member a kind or supportive note/email if you choose. I am really proud of them and I hope you appreciate them too!

No Extensions Monday

Due to the testing schedule next week, there are no extensions on Monday, May 1.

BIPOC Homebuyer Group Opportunity

Starting April 29th. 11am-1pm at The Root and Online. Facilitated By Ana Mejia

Together, we’re reclaiming our power as BIPOC and redistributing wealth for ourselves & our families through home ownership.This is for ALL BIPOC curious/learning about home ownership, in the process of securing home ownership, or wanting to prepare for the future of making their homeownership dreams a reality! The group is specifically for BIPOC individuals, BIPOC families, BIPOC+ families ( families that are multi racial) to work through the homebuying process in a centered and safer space.

BAMS Spring Concert

The BAMS Spring Concert will occur on Wednesday, May 17th in the BUHS Auditorium at 7:00 pm.
