Physical Education

Hi Families,

I hope you had a lovely break.

District Cross Country

Cross country trials were completed last week in PE. I was super impressed that all students contributed in some way! This goes really well with our fitness components unit in year 5 & 6 and our healthy living in year 4.

Teams for the District Cross Country can be found below and will be representing SJV at the District Cross Country on Friday 19th May at Ruffey Lake Park.  These will be put up for the students on the sport board tomorrow also. Selection is based on times on the day.

An Operoo will be sent out during the week, if you are able to assist on the day, it would be greatly appreciated, please let us know via Operoo.

PE Curriculum this term

As in 2023, I will be doing my best to update the PE Classroom website here as a way for you to discuss with your child what they are doing in class and perhaps help you with what you can be doing with them outside of the classroom if need be. Any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Stay well, stay active
