Congratulations to our week one Students of the Week.

Year 2 News - Term 2, Week 1

During the very short week 1, the Year Two students have been preparing themselves to investigate the big question “What is my personal and family history?”

To tune the children into the topic, we created a class web using wool. As each child spoke about their family history, they passed the ball of wool to someone else so they could share. 

As the web of connectedness kept growing, the children discussed their thoughts and wonderings.

Some of the comments the children made were…

“In 2S, we are all connected.” Oliver

“In 2S we may come from different cultures, but when we work together and unite, nothing can stop us working together as a team.” Zoe
