From the Principal's Desk

The very first Easter taught us this:

that life never ends and love never dies. (Kate McGohan)

Alleluia! He is Risen!

This week we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus as the Easter Season continues. Tomorrow our staff and students will celebrate, gathered together in faith and worship.

We will look towards the cross of our Risen Lord and celebrate Jesus rising from the dead, with joy and hope, and with our hearts open.

As we hear in scripture:

Early in the morning, they went to the tomb, just as the sun was rising.

On entering the tomb they saw a man in a white robe and were struck with amazement. He said to them, “There is no need for alarm. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified: He has risen!  He is not here!”

We acknowledge the hope Jesus’ resurrection brings in this Easter season and we are reminded to be people of faith, to continue to use our hands, our hearts and our voices in the world today. Jesus is alive in each and every one of us.

At the Mass, students will process forward with letters to make the words, ‘Alleluia, He is Risen’

Family members are welcome to join us for our Resurrection Mass, tomorrow, Friday, April 28th at 9.30a.m.

To continue our Resurrection Day celebrations, students and staff will participate in a Kaboom! Sport Incursion from 11.30a.m. on Thursday, May 4th. Students are to wear their sports uniform.

Our school has taken an exciting step forward and we are moving our school management to one platform. In the past we have been using Skoolbag, Operoo and Passtab. From Wednesday 3rd May we will use Compass as our one operating platform.  We would like all families to download and use the Compass App from Wednesday.  The Compass App is free and easy to use.

Your child is bringing home your personal login details tonight and we would like you to login to the new app as soon as possible.

We will begin using Compass on:

Wednesday 3rd May!

Please login to Compass using this link and your unique username and password.
