District Athletics

On Thursday the 4th of May, selected students from Years 3-6 competed at the Knox Athletics Track against other schools in the District Athletics. There were many different events to participate in, such as relay, hurdles and discus. Most people were nervous but once they had done their first event they were very happy and excited. All students who participated did an amazing job and the school came 4th out of 8-10 other schools. We would like to congratulate Kate and Leah for getting a special award and medal as they won first place twice and second place once and were awarded the overall champions for their age group! Amazing effort girls!

House Cross Country

On the 5th of May, all students participated in our school’s House Cross Country event. Prep-Year 2 students ran 2 laps around the oval, the 3/4s ran 3 laps and the 5/6s ran 4-5 laps around the school . Most people were exhausted but they pushed through. Some of the Year 6 students had the choice of running with the Preps for their lap. Overall, most people had fun!

Twilight Sports

On Thursday the 27th of April we had Twilight Sports. We had 8 activities that were run by our teachers, House, School and Vice Captains. We were glad to see so many people dressed in their house colours. We rotated around the 8 activities and, at the end, we had our annual Year 6 race. The boys wheel-barrowed down the oval and the girls went in a line and skipped down the oval. Everyone had an amazing time!
