Something exciting is happening at Rangeview!
Indigenous Literacy Day is fast approaching (7th of September) and to celebrate we are having a ‘Great Book Swap’.
What does that mean you ask? Well, check with your adult/s at home and find a book that you are happy to part with (swap). Bring this to school on Tuesday 6th of September. Your name will be recorded in preparation for the swap to occur. On Wednesday 7th of September-Indigenous Literacy Day, bring a gold coin donation and you will get the opportunity to choose a different book to take home to read and enjoy!
All profits received will be donated to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation so they can provide carefully chosen books to children in remote Indigenous Communities across Australia.
*Please ensure the book brought to school is in quality condition e.g no ripped pages, not drawn in, pages in good condition etc.
