It’s the last week of term three and what a busy one it has been.  Before we all dash off on our spring holidays a few important things from the PFC.

THANK YOU - We would like to say a huge thank you to one of our school mums, Hydie Abouskhroun for doing a terrific job on the Father’s Day Stall this year.  Hydie worked tirelessly sourcing, packaging and delivering the gifts ready for the kids to choose.  Thank you too to all the volunteers who turned up on the day to help the kids choose their gifts.  We’d also like to thank our business suppliers The Pantry, Soapmums, Brighton Chocolates and Ballers Clubhouse.

LAPATHON 

What an epic effort from all our students running laps yesterday.  It was so fabulous to see their happy and determined faces as the siren(Emma) blasted and they shot off round the oval.  Massive thank you to our gang of volunteers who did a fabulous job and a special thank you to our Grade 6 House and Sports Captains for tallying the laps all morning.  

QKR is now open for parents to pay their child’s collected sponsorship money.  It will close on Wednesday 5th October at 3pm.  Please note: NO CASH CAN BE ACCEPTED.

PARENTS PARTY FUNDRAISING EVENT -  FRIDAY 14TH OCTOBER

Join us for a fabulous night out - Encore Extravaganza - on Friday 14th October.  QKR is now open so please get in quick to secure your tickets.  

Time to bust out of your trackies, glam up and see the back of winter at one of  Melbourne’s best beachside venues, Encore St Kilda. 

Ticket Sales will close on QKR at 3pm on Wednesday 12th October.

Time: 7.30-11.30pm

Where: Encore St Kilda, 10-18 Jacka Blvd.

Food & Drink: Free flow alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, plus a selection of top quality restaurant hot and cold canapes and grazing dishes all night.  Cocktails can also be purchased on the night.

Entertainment: One of Melbourne’s best, DJ Matty will light up the D floor

Price: $135 per person.

Transport: $20 bus return ticket.  Depart Brighton Primary School at 7.15pm.  Leaves Encore at 11.30pm back to BPS.  Tickets can be purchased on QKRd 

Dress code: Friday night casual and add a touch of glam

Venue: We have our own private, spacious and elegantly styled room for the night PLUS, exclusive use of the outdoor deck and loungers overlooking the bay 

PLUS: Raffle, live auction and a few surprises.
