Activities and Events

 

Term 3 has been busy at Brighton Primary School!  We've had some fun fundraising events (big thanks to Jan and Emma and all the volunteers from the PFC), incursions, excursions, 100 Days of Prep, Grade 6 exhibition and more!

Lapathon

Our annual lapathon was lots of fun and a fabulous fundraiser for our school.  Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to help out.

Grade 5 Market

For their current unit of inquiry, Grade 5 students looked at different types of wellbeing. They then used their numeracy skills to create products to support wellbeing.  They sold their products at a market at school with all profits going to charity.

Well done to the students for their creativity and focus on this unit and thank you to our Grade 5 teachers for all their work supporting the students. 

Story Dogs

After a very long absence, we are so excited to have our wonderful Story Dogs back at Brighton Primary. 

Story Dogs help to support students to read with confidence and fluency in a safe environment.  We are very grateful to the wonderful volunteers involved with the Story Dogs program.
