24 October 2022 – Next PFA Meeting
The PFA will hold its next monthly meeting on Monday 24 October 2022 at 7.30pm in the school staff room in the Main Office Block.
The Parents and Friends Committee is an informal, friendly group of interested parents who provide assistance at various school functions throughout the year such as information nights, music nights, school production, parent/teacher interview days etc. P&F also fundraises with a focus to raise extra funds to use on worthwhile projects that will benefit the college community. Please email Aban at aban2309@yahoo.com and we will be extremely happy to add you to our group.
8 September – Baked Goods Sales at Parent Teacher Interviews
The PFA will be organizing a baked goods stall at the upcoming Parent Teacher Interviews on 8 September 2022. Please visit our stall to enjoy the delicious lemon slices, vanilla cupcakes, chocolate cake slices and more from our very talented PFA bakers. We look forward to seeing you all there and for your support.
We are also looking for volunteers to help us on that day. If you would like to volunteer for this event and have a valid WWCC, please send your expression of interest to Aban at aban2309@yahoo.com.
1 September – Snacks, Tea and Coffee Kiosk at “The Show Must Go On”
The PFA organised a kiosk serving tea, coffee and light snacks during the interval of “The Show Must Go On” (college talent show). All items were offered for a gold coin donation.
The PFA is planning a cooking demonstration very soon. This will be conducted by Pearl who is an expert in more than one cuisine. She will be demonstrating one of her recipes with us in a live event in the coming month. Please watch this space for more news regarding this exciting event to come.
