VICTORIAN STATE JUDO CHAMPIONSHIP

Congratulations to Amit Ben-Harim (7B) and Ben Ayzelman (7I) who received medals at the State Championships last weekend.  Amit won a gold medal in the Under 15, under 44kg division and Ben won silver in the Under 15, 42kg division.  Well done boys.  What a wonderful achievement!

NATIONAL WOMEN'S CRICKET CHAMPIONSHIPS

Melina Ayres (8I) represented Victoria in the National Women's U15 Cricket Championships in Sydney last week.  She had a wonderful tournament and top scored with 45 runs in the opening match in which Victoria defeated defending champions, NSW.  According to the competition news report, "eventual match winner Melina Ayres steadied the team thanks to her patient 45 runs from 100 balls". 

ANOTHER JUDO MEDAL!       

Ron Burshtein (7G) competed in the State Judo Championships on the weekend of 1 December.  He won a Gold Medal in the ‘Senior Boys’ age category, under 42kg Division.  Congratulations on winning the title.
