Mock United Nations Assembly - SEAL students
Last Thursday year 7 and 10 SEAL students presented with confidence and professionalism to a panel of judges in a mock United Nations Assembly. The teams presented their chosen country’s current affairs and offered solutions to the judges, hoping to gain aide and assistance. According to the judges, the most convincing cases made comparisons between their country and Australia; and offered specific and well researched solutions that would assist them in combatting the issues faced by people of their nation.
Congratulations to all teams, as every student presented brilliantly. We hope that this special project allowed students to make new connections with students in the college and build their collaboration and team work skills.
The winning country and team was Kenya!! Well done to Mark 10D, Jason 10F, Charlie 7E and Nathan 7E.
A special mention was given to Michael and Alyssa from 7E.
Thank you to all staff who came to watch and support the students, and a big thank you to our judges Mr Morris, Mr Pavlou and Ms McMaster.
