Cyber Safety
Top Ten Tips
- Create an 'Acceptable Use Agreement' for your family to facilitate conversation. Ensure that children are involved in this process.
- Set up safe search and security controls with a platform such as Family Zone.
- Agree on where computers, laptops and mobile devices can be used in the home e.g. bedrooms, lounge rooms etc.
- Lights out = wifi off.

- Talk to your child's teacher and school.
- If your child reports an issue to you, don't threaten to take away their device - this may force them to become secretive.
