Debut Performance!

We are very excited to announce that the Junior Choir and  School Band  will be performing together at Assembly this coming Monday (20 May). This will be the debut performance of our new School Band and we would love to see you there if you are able to make it!

Prep Music

In Prep Music we have been learning about how sounds are made. One week, we explored brass instruments, and this week, everyone made a straw pan pipe. The unit we are working on is all about using our senses to understand sound.

Year 1 & 2 Music

The Year 1 and Year 2 students are learning about the staff and formal notation. They are staying focused and enjoying the challenge of composing their own little tunes.

These original compositions are part of their Learning Task for this term. 

2020 School Concert

The BNPS School Concert will be staged at the amazing Hamer Hall on Tuesday 11 August, 2020. Please put this date in your dairy now! It is particularly important that students are at school in the first few weeks of Term 3, 2020 when we are rehearsing items and sorting logistics of movement on and off stage.
