Basketball

The College basketball community would like to extend a huge thank you to Barry Hatherall for donating his time to come and share his passion of basketball with students who are looking at taking their turn at umpiring this season.  The association is very low on umpire numbers and we all know that we cannot have a game without them.  Thank you also to the students who gave their time to attend the session and learn about the basics of umpiring basketball.  We all learnt something both as an umpire and a player so it was certainly worthwhile.

Hockey

Yes, it is that time of year again.  Information about the forthcoming hockey serason and how to register should be distributed this week to all players who have previously registered interest.  So we can accurately enter the correct number of teams in the competition, return slips are due by next Friday, 13th March.  Should your child not have received information, please contact one of us as soon as possible next week.

Cricket

As the regular season draws to a close, the finals begin. This week sees both U14 sides (College Blue & Gold) in the semi-finals. Both teams find themselves in contrasting form. College Gold are on a winning run that see their confidence high. Blue have limped into the finals, however, on the back of two wins, seem to have reignited their season. Both teams will play this weekend, both Saturday and Sunday morning.  We wish both sides luck for their semi-finals this week in their attempts to set up a all College CC Grand Final next week.
