Teaching and Learning
As our Years 10 and Year 11 students finish off their examinations, they will make the important transition into their new VCE subjects. On Friday this week, students will be given their timetables for the 7 days of the Step-Up Programme (Monday 4th December to Tuesday 12th December).
This period is vital to make an early start on what will be a very busy year in 2018. Teachers will be providing an outline of the course requirements and assessment details as well as commencing teaching the course content. Preparation work for the holiday break will also be provided and will be expected to be completed by the start of the year.
If your child has any concerns please ask them to speak to their new subject teachers in the first instance.
Years 7 to 9 Semester Two Examinations will take place from Monday 4th to Thursday 7th December. During the examination period, normal classes are suspended and we run an examination timetable. The Year 7 to 9 Examination Timetable is attached to this newsletter – there have been two minor adjustments to the Year 9 schedule which I have highlighted in yellow.
Good luck to the Years 7 to 9 students who will commence their examinations on Monday.
