TERM 3 KITCHEN ROSTER
GRADES 4V, 4S and 4M STILL NEED VOLUNTEERS
Thank you very much to all the parents who have already volunteered to help in the kitchen program. The time and commitment of all volunteers is truly appreciated by the students and staff.
Volunteers are still required for the 4V (URGENTLY NEED) , 4S and 4M kitchen classes. Please find attached the rosters for each class.
The sessions for these grades are:
Tuesday 4M 11.10am - 1.00 pm
Thursday 4S 11.10am - 1.00 pm
Friday 4V 11.10am - 1.00 pm
The program relies on volunteers to supervise the children to ensure their safety. We require 5 volunteers for each grade for each session. Unfortunately classes will have to be cancelled if we do not have enough volunteers.
If you are able to assist and/or know of another adult/family member/neighbour who could offer their time could you please email Natalie Baumgurtel natbaumy@gmail.com or fill out the form and return it to your child’s class teacher ASAP.
The children and teachers will be very disappointed if their kitchen sessions are cancelled. It is a program that everyone enjoys as it provides great hands on learning as well as enjoying the aspects of socialising, communicating and sharing a meal in the dining room.

GARDEN HOLIDAY HELP
A big thank you to Glenice Warhurst, Zoe, Lochie, Erin & Hannah for helping in the kitchen garden over the holidays.
VOLUNTEERS
As it is an 8 week term for the garden classes, each grade 3 & 4 class has only 4 classes for the term.
So if we are short on volunteers, the children will miss out a class if we don't have enough helpers. 3D, 4M & 4S in particular need additional helpers.
CARPET SCRAPS
A call for any large carpet pieces for the garden. They would need to be 1 metre wide x 2 metres long (approx.)
