This Week at Kharisma Kids

This is our last week under our old software provider.  We are going Live with our new Platform “Xplor” on Monday 16th November. The families that have been utilising the service during lockdown (remote learning) and those who have attended this term are being automatically migrated to the new software.

All other families / new families will need to enrol via the new system to populate the app with current information.

Once the enrolment is complete, parents will be able to download the Xplor Home app. We’re going contactless signing in and out, digital bookings, accident reports, observations, stories, medication permissions will all be accessible through the app.

At the service this week the children had the opportunity to participate in water painting (beach theme) and mosaic art/ scrunch art.  Over a few days we had many wonderful art pieces made.

We also made chocolate crackles, one of our favourite recipes of all time.

Chocolate Crackles®

The original Chocolate Crackles® recipe and everyone’s favourite childhood treat! Chocolate Crackles® are simple and easy to make and a hit at kids' birthday parties.

INGREDIENTS

• 4 cups Kellogg's® Rice Bubbles®
• 1 cup icing sugar
• 1 cup desiccated coconut
• 250g copha®*, chopped
• 3 Tbsp cocoa

DIRECTIONS

1. In a large bowl, mix the Kellogg's® Rice Bubbles®, icing sugar, cocoa & coconut.

2. Slowly melt the copha® in a saucepan over a low heat. Allow to cool slightly. Add to Rice Bubbles mixture, stirring until well combined.

3. Spoon mixture into paper patty cases and refrigerate until firm.
