Gardening

We've been very busy in the gardens, removing all the weeds, turning over the soil and harvesting our sweet potatoes. We hope you enjoyed cooking them at home! The gardens are ready to plant new produce in next term, if you have any spare plants or seeds we would welcome any donations to our school gardens.

NAIDOC Day

On Thursday the 30th June we celebrated NAIDOC Day 2022. We listened to part of a fabulous Aboriginal book called Young Dark Emu by Bruce Pasco.

We created sand and dirt pictures and used Aboriginal colours to decorate our artworks in the style of dot paintings. We then finished the day with some fun Aboriginal games.
