Charlie Whitsed (12 Riley)

Congratulations to Charlie Whitsed who competed in the 2022 Australian Swimming Championships with the Bendigo East Swimming Club.

Charlie Whitsed had an outstanding week in the pool in what was his first ever trip to an event of this scale.

Charlie secured a personal best on debut within the 50m breaststroke, achieving times of 29.84 (seed time) followed by a 29.62 (preliminary).

Augustine Leung (11 Jenkin)

Congratulations to Augustine who has been awarded his AMus in Violin. This is an outstanding achievement. Especially so soon after being awarded his LMus in Piano (which is a different arena). 

It is thoroughly awe-inspiring that Augustine has achieved this level of advanced qualifications whilst in Year 10 and 11.

The Conferring Ceremony for his LMus will be held this weekend.
