Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden

The 4/5 Class attended a double period of cooking this week to allow them to produce something a little more advanced making Crunchy Chicken Caesar Wraps. Students learnt how to crumb a piece of chicken, boil and peel eggs, make croutons and shred lettuce. The wraps look delicious. Well done to Year 4/5, who have shown a huge leap in skill development. 

Years K/1, 1/2 and 2/3 all made Savoury Muffins this week. Our focus was on grating foods and mixing. The muffins are an excellent healthy snack alternative. To add a little extra flavour we added curry powder, salt and pepper.  A significant effort by all classes to produce some delicious treats.
