Beachside Cross Country Friday 3rd June

On Friday 3rd June St James had 9 students represent the HOLT district at the Beachside Cross Country. This was once again held at Bald Hill Park in Clayton. It was very tough conditions but luckily our students had already experienced this track previously at our HOLT district event.  Well done to each of the students below for competing in what I believe were some very tough races with competitors running sub 4 mins per km. 

AFL LP- Thursday 9th June

How good are St James! The AFL Lightning premiership was held last Thursday in some very wet and cold conditions but from what I could tell on the teams return as well as the washing that had to be done there was a lot of fun!

Our mixed St James team which consisted of 26 players from Year 5 and 6 went through to the final undefeated and WON!  The team will now progress through to the Beachside division playoffs on Wednesday 20th July at Centenary Park, Brady Rd, Bentleigh East.  An Operoo will be sent with further details soon. 

Netball LP

Unfortunately the Netball LP to be held on Wednesday the 8th June was rescheduled due to inclement weather and the courts being unsafe to play on. This was rescheduled to Thursday 16th June.
