Writing

Last week, we learnt the word ‘jam’. As well as making delicious jam sandwiches, we also read the book ‘The Giant Jam Sandwich’. We then wrote about what we could catch if we had a giant jam sandwich.

SMART Spelling

Our SMART Spelling word this week is ‘frog’. We have loved reading books, singing songs and learning poems all about frogs. We have also created our own frogs with mouths that open, a curly tongue and wavy water.

Countdown Rockets

We have been learning how to count backwards from 10 and we created these special countdown rockets to practise reading, writing and ordering our numbers.
