Hello from the PA team.
Can’t believe it’s June already and we are one week out from finishing the second term.
Some of us school mums and kids are heading to Bounce in Glen Iris tomorrow for the school curriculum day from 10-12pm if any-one wants to come down.
Before we head into the holiday break, we’d like to ask our parent community to rally once more and help build some momentum towards our next major event. The event falls early in T3 so the more we can do now, the less pressure once we return to school.
PARENTS NIGHT OUT: SATURDAY THE 6TH OF AUGUST AT BRIGHTON YACHT CLUB.
We need your help with raising auction items. We are trying to spread the load and ask that every family just raises one item to auction.
We appreciate the donations that have been collected so far, mostly from businesses in our local area. Or some families are donating vouchers, wine or products to be raffled off.
We are also seeking any big ticket items eg. holiday house/s, sports memorabilia, art, services etc. this will by far help our fundraising efforts.
Any donations can be dropped into reception at school for committee to collect.
Do you have something you can donate or can you ask some-one you know?
To help, we have a letter from the school that can be emailed along with any donation requests. If you are interested please request through event organiser.
All items raised will be added to an auction booklet to be sent out to parents before the event. This is great advertising and incentive for local businesses.
We have created a fundraising spreadsheet so we don’t double up on approaching business.
Please add items that you are chasing up (potential donations) or items you have raised to the sheet. If they don’t eventuate, you can just remove them from the sheet.

UPDATE ON WHERE ALL OUR ALL OUR FUNDRAISING IS GOING
The money raised by the PA and school community recently funded the purchase of a new public access defibrillator machine, which means anyone even without training can save lives.
We are very grateful for the continued support of all our parents, the school and local community. All our PA members are volunteers who generously give up their own time to organize our school events.
