A STEM Plea

As part of our Science week learning, we will need a few additional resources. One of these is approximately 50 - 1.25 -litre plastic soda bottles (like the ones in the photos below).

If you have any of these that you are planning to recycle, could you please send them to school with your child to give to their class teacher. They will then pass them on to me.

This week our parent focused resource comes from Common Sense Media. This website provides lots of information about games, movies, websites, and apps including their age recommendations, what their privacy rules and guidelines say, and reviews from parents. 

The Common Sense Media blog is just one example of a regularly updated resource that responds to the current needs of our students.

We'll also reshare the links to the eSafety Commissioner's free parent focused webinars and how to register.

Year 6 STEM learning this week

Year 6 

This week was the turn of two more year 6 classes to get stuck in with making food that discourages food waste. Here are a few pics of our students cooking, sampling their food, and cleaning up.

Also, a big shout out to the parents who came along to help. Without you, we could not run this program.
