Principal's News

All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.

Good afternoon families.

I hope you have all had a good week. It has been an interesting week with the building project due to some surprises underground. I believe solutions have been found so onwards and upwards.

All students can graze all day in the classroom on healthy food. This would be fruit, vegetables, rice crackers etc.

Good luck to the Yr 6 girl's T-ball team. They are competing on Monday in the Regional competition and we wish them all the very best. Thank you Mr Wood who is their super coach.

Aladdin - School musical

Whole School Production- Monday October 24 - Thursday October 26 at the Frankston Arts Centre.

Aladdin is the whole school musical this year. All students will be performing and parents have been notified of the night each grade from Prep to Year Six will be on stage. You have also received an operoo this week informing you of the costume requirement for your child/ren. A huge thank you to all the parents who are helping behind the scenes, it is wonderful to be able to work together.

Car Park Safety

We have noticed some unsafe use of our carpark over the last few weeks and would like to give families a reminder of our carpark procedures.

  • All student getting dropped off outside of the drop off zone in the carpark must use the Zebra crossing even when they are with an adult.
  • The carpark is a 5km p/h zone.
  • Enter the front of the school on the path next to the power box alongside the driveway. Please do not walk up the drive where cars are driving.
  • There is no right turn into the carpark - this is an illegal turn and people have been fined for this previously.

Learning Conferences

On Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 September we will be holding Learning Conferences.

This will be a conversation between teacher, family and student.
