From the Principal 

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had an excellent start to Term 3, our students have returned settled and ready to learn. It was lovely to see all the smiling faces come back in the gate and reconnecting with their friends after holidays.  Our 5-6 Students are getting ready to head off to camp next week, we wish them all the best and hope for some sunshine and no rain; it’s an action packed timetable with lots of exciting activities.

The Foundation students have welcomed in their chicken eggs and look forward to watching them hatch and develop, it is an excellent opportunity for our students. 

We have a new hydration station, this was part of a South East Water grant, students can now fill drink bottles as well as use the normal bubblers. The taps in the toilets have also been changed over to timed taps to save water. 

We have our Foundation Information night on Wednesday the 3rd of August at 7pm in the Gym. If you are intending on sending your child to Somerville for Foundation in 2023, we look forward to seeing you there.
