Hello lovely Marlborough community,

 

During these tough times and throughout other moments of uncertainty or maybe even regularly, we all experience anxiety to different degrees.  I have included some tips below which may help you navigate anxiety in your child/children, maybe even some good tips for yourself.  Please remember that we must acknowledge our children's feelings and not disregard them no matter how difficult that may be.  We may have a child who turns into an adult with anxiety and that's ok, what we can do is teach them how to manage this, not fix it!!  At the bottom of my tips is a link to free activities about how to deal with anxiety, this is from headspace.

Don't forget to stay connected in anyway you can.  There are also amazing organisations such as headspace, beyond blue, lifeline and many other local community centres, I can also help you find these details if necessary.
