Scholastic LOOP Book club

Issue 2 is now available online https://www.scholastic.com.au/book-club/book-club-parents/book-club-news/ and paper catalogues have been distributed to students. With Easter just around the corner now is the perfect opportunity to buy some great NEW books for your children to read and enjoy during the holidays. Also, unlike chocolate Easter eggs, books won't melt and are good for healthy bodies and minds too! 

Online orders are due by 9am Friday 24th March 2023.

Book Donations

Thank you to Alexander in 3B and Sam (staff) for their generous donation of wonderful books to the school library. The school library is most grateful for these and all good condition pre-loved children's book donations - Thank You!

Literary Events

Sunday 19th March is International READ TO ME DAY - https://www.readtomeday.com/.

Harmony Day - Tuesday 21st March 2023. There is a great range of books on diversity, culture, peace in the library to celebrate Harmony Week/Day. 

CBCA Children's BOOK WEEK is August 19th - 25th, 2023.

The theme in 2023 is: READ GROW INSPIRE. The CBCA Notables were announced on 28th February and the Shortlist will be announced on Tuesday 28th March @12 noon. For further details of these outstanding Australian Children's books visit https://cbca.org.au.
